Ok I know this is going to sound crazy.But I have an English Springer Spaniel.I live out in the country and own roughly 6-7 acres.Well we normally go out running everyday and go down to the pond and swim.But the colder months are coming up.So I need something to do so she won't get fat.So I was wondering if I could teach her to pull a sled.I know they are not bred for that but I love sled dogs.So here is my question.Would it put any strain on her if it was just a small sled that weighs about 2 pounds?

New lawn coming in slow, tips/help?

Had landscaping company install irrigation, loam and hydro-seed last fall (09/10) and watched the lime green fuzz (seedlings) come up til mid/late October. The gr only came up about 1-2 inches. Then it seems the gr went dormant and stopped growing. I didn't put winter fertilizer down figuring I'd wait til spring to see what growth there might be. I didn't see growth like the established lawns in the area so I bought Scott's Starter Fertilizer 20-27-5 and spread it on a slightly lower setting than recommended (late 4/10). I had expected the shorter gr to start to spread out and fill in the thinner looking areas but it hasn't really so I just reseeded 1.5 weeks ago today, with some Evergreen Seed from Blue Seal (A versatile and dependable sun and shade mix. Produces a lush dark-green lawn that thickens rapidly after germination.) I don't see anything happening yet. How much longer should I give the seed before I fertilize again? And what kind of fertilizer should I use...another dose of starter fertilizer or turf-builder type? I finally mowed last weekend to even out the gr length, but the seed had been down for over a week by then. Thanks in advance!

Possible fracture or bruise on top of foot after big shreader machine fell on it.?

I was in the kitchen and the big paper shreader machine landed right on top of my foot towards the middle and going towards the ankle but the pain is on top of the foot. It hurt for a good 15 minutes and for five minutes pretty bad. I put some ice on it and although I can walk on it with just some limping, when I drove kids to school today everytime I stepped on the gas petal it hurt worse. Is it possible to fracture the top of the foot and be able to walk on it and have more pain when pressing on the gas? I also am on lasix now cause I had a bad reaction to a medication so I gained 24 pounds of fluid and am now on lasix. I can't really compare swelling since both legs are swollen. I've been checked out for that but now I wonder if I should get an x-ray (we don't have much money) and if it's o.k. would an orthopedic dr. treat it with something if it were just a sprain? I can't take narcotic pain meds and wouldn't need them anyway for this but just wondering if it's possible for a bone to be cracked and still be able to walk on it but have increase pain when stepping on the gas pedal? Colic baby!? IS there anythng that can help?

My son will be 6 weeks on monday. He cries most of the time during the day and is fed and very healthy. When the evening comes around, you must hold him or feed him or try bouncing him to get him to just not cry. In the morning he grunts pushes and has gas as loud as a grown man follwed by pooh. He sounds like he is in so much pain, I cry fro him. I tried the Mylicon drops and that really hasn't helped but was told Grip Water can do the trick. You can't do science or medical labs online. It's a lot harder to explain things to people over email and websites than in person. And a lot harder to get one-on-one tutoring. And there's no substitute for having an experienced professor or research adviser. Online schools don't work for a lot of people - especially the ones who don't have the motivation themselves to finish an ignment if there's no someone checking up on them every day.

It's a good draft, but I'd suggest less things like drunk fathers and abduction. It seems a little loaded on and it's hard to relate to a character who seems to attract violence and crime. I can see a dead mother, a drunk father and a terrible orphanage, but abusive foster parents? A coma? A little too much. Though if a hurricane (or tornado) came through you could put the coma there. You also might need some love interest or something else not related to disaster besides friends. Other than that, it's good so far!

You give each page a different name. Generally the homepage by default if usually called index.html. Each page for each family member would have a different name. Because they are family members you can just use their names like Kim.html etc. You want to be sure to have links to all the pages on your homepage. The easiest way to make it all look seamless is to use the same page design and just modify the text this way it will still feel like its all one website and you're just going through different pages.

How long should it take for an experienced clarinet player to learn tenor sax?

My daughter plays clarinet in concert band and marching band. Her band director doesn't want clarinets in his senior jazz band, so she got "sent back to the minors" to play in the junior jazz band. We have a tenor sax and are looking to get it overhauled to get it into playing shape. She already takes private lessons on the clarinet and I cannot afford lessons on two instruments for long. I have become suicidal...now what?

I have become suicidal. I have family and friends who love me dearly yet I am plagued with debilitating health issues and intense self-hatred. You are correct in stating that the read side (bottom) must remain scratch free to work properly. The top layer is thick enough to take on a small bit of print and some minor scratching. Sound problems with my computer?

My computer runs windows Vista. After removing a trojan horse virus with Webroot Anti-spyware, my computer isn't getting any sound. There is no start up or log off noise. I can't hear sound from Youtube or a DVD. There's a "beep" when I shut down. And when I tried to use Adobe Soundbooth to record-it told me the driver didn't allow recording. I was ale to before. I've downloaded the lastest driver, but that didn't fix the problem. Neither did a full system virus scan, an restoring the system to a previous point. I need to get sound back on my computer.

Ok so ive been on birth control pills for 3.5 year and it does a good job on regulating my period but lately over the past week I been having some symptons that seem like they may be pregnancy but im not sure. you're typing your notes as the professor is speaking...windows encounters an error and needs to restart...your professor will wait for you to reboot...hopefully without errors...and then restart the entire lecture just for you because you lost all your information..............right.........g… the higher end PC and maybe a laptop if you'd like...PC can always be upgraded if the need arises...especially if he needs to run some design programs that require higher end graphics cards...piecing one together from newegg.com will save you $$ too...especially since money will be a little tighter but also for safety as well because some programs may need stronger graphics or more ram...and sometimes prebuilt computers like HP/DELL may be good, but they become obsolete and unsupported a couple years later as the new model is out and you are stuck with upgrading your ram as the easiest thing you could do and maybe add a graphics card...the sales man might not always be sure if the motherboard supports certain processors...but with building your own...you can upgrade bits and pieces at a time and not be as limited with your computer setup and you'll know the specs on it especially since QUAD CORE processors are really cheap right now...so...what will be next year's model...?

Unfortunately, that's really a common issue. I know when I was in high school I constantly had the same problem. You've got to find some good friends, even if they don't go to the same school. Every person needs a honest group of friends to vent to and have fun with. I went to a school in a town Pop. 700+, and my cl had 14 in it. The gossip & betrayal was very difficult to deal with. Just look forward to the fact in a few years you'll probably never see them again, and that you're more mature than them. Also, I learned to keep my mouth shut. Will a new stereo give me better sound quality?

I recently replaced my rear stock speakers with some 250 watt sony xplod's that i put in, they sound great but my front speakers in the door cramp the style that my rear speakers have because my front speakers still crackle when the music is loud. I still have my stock stereo system in and like I said my 2 front door speakers are also stock. If I got a new CD player stereo in the dash would that improve my sound quality at all? I know different speakers give better sound but how much of a difference in sound quality will you notice with a new stereo? and also I would've replaced my stock front speakers a long time ago because they suck so bad but I removed the door panel and the door speakers are welded on. I believe you should let the trade stand. Even though the trade can certainly be seen as unfair (given Granger's unique stats [2 3spg, 1 stl, and 1 blk]) and Bynum's potential), I don't believe the trade is blatantly unfair. Hedo was great last season (and he's in a contract year this year). Additionally, Horford has nearly as much potential as Bynum (and Hoford isn't as much of an injury risk). All in all, while I believe the Granger/Bynum team got the better deal, it seems like a somewhat reasonable trade. Lastly, since you're in a 12 team league, all that was needed to veto the trade was 4 votes (a mere 30%). If 4 managers couldn't vote against it, I say you let the trade stand. I consider myself to be extremely healthy- I eat very well and exercise a lot, but whatever exercise I do (moderate walking or more extreme stuff like mountain biking and wakeboarding or at the gym) I get this line of white phlegm around my lips (I just have to emphasise I mean the lips on my mouth on my face not another more personal area!!) that you can pull off (like that stringy sleep you get in your eyes) this really bugs me as i'm sure it's pretty unsightly and my mouth feels all stuck together all the time, can anyone shed some light on this for me? thanks :)
