Calling all step-mothers......?

My Stepson lives with us. I have been in his life since he was 2 1/2 and he is now 13. We have a great relationship and his BM lives a bit away from us. After being in his life for over 10 years I believe that she finally realized that I am not going anywhere. BM would leave him with me for days knowing hubby was gonig to be working; so she can have a life also but by then Stepson and Daughter were my life and I no longer had the urge to "party". Stepson and I got along since the beginning, I never left him out and treated him as my own. I don't care what anyone says; he is mine.
