Will my Betta picta fry be okay?

Sounds like you have a handle on it. Beware sucking them with a turkey baster or siphon tube can damage some of them. You will not know until they are much larger. They have been in the tank for a bit. Born out by the size differential. They won't eat any thing they cannot rip apart or get into their mouths.
