AAAAHHHH! I need major guy help on this!!?

Ok heres the deal... I like this guy he is super cute and really funnny. We have a French cl together but thats the only time we talk in person. He instant messages me all the time since i refuse to do it first and he has tried to call me a couple times but i was grounded. Then after i was ungrounded i was all "yay i get the phone back" around him and he never called. There is also a very big problamo that one of my good friends likes him almost as much as me. I havent told her that i like him that way but i think she already knows that. Its not that hard to see. When we instant message he always asks wat im thinkin about and i tell him boys so he asks who i cant tell him cause i dont want to get hurt. O ya did I mention that he is smokin?!?! What do i do??Help me plz
