Colic baby!? IS there anythng that can help?

My son will be 6 weeks on monday. He cries most of the time during the day and is fed and very healthy. When the evening comes around, you must hold him or feed him or try bouncing him to get him to just not cry. In the morning he grunts pushes and has gas as loud as a grown man follwed by pooh. He sounds like he is in so much pain, I cry fro him. I tried the Mylicon drops and that really hasn't helped but was told Grip Water can do the trick. Has anyone else had luck with this, and if so, can I do it and try the Mylicon too, or would this be too much on his tummy. Any light shed on this would be wonderful - thank you!
